Open call for projects for the European Capital of Culture program
After Bielsko-Biała was included in the prestigious group of four Polish cities qualified for the second stage of the bid for the ECC2029 title, we are again looking for ideas for cultural and social ventures. Residents can submit their projects until December 3.
It is the ideas and commitment of the people of Bielsko that can have a significant impact on whether Bielsko-Biała will become the European Capital of Culture 2029. Do you remember that we are the City of Weaves? In this recruitment, the ECoC task force is primarily waiting for projects that will, in various ways, refer to the weaving heritage of the twin-city, but also to other meanings of the word weaves. These can also be projects that fit into the framework of the City of Weaves - these are awareness, society and the environment - or those that build residents' satisfaction with life in the city, i.e. broadly understood well-being.
