Everyone who wants to familiarize themselves with Bielsko-Biała's competition offer in the efforts to obtain the title of ESK 2029 will be able to do so online.

The title of European Capital of Culture can be a great opportunity, which is why so many cities compete for this distinction. However, only a few achieve this honor.

Bielsko-Biała is competing for the ECoC title in 2029. The efforts are a very interesting and exciting process. It's a great adventure involving many people, including many residents. One of the key elements of these efforts was preparing the bidbook.

The bidbook is a project document containing the plan for organizing ECoC in 2029. We have presented what will happen under the theme "City of Weaves" - this is our candidacy. It's a coherent and detailed concept of events that will make Bielsko-Biała a better, more interesting, and more attractive city for residents and visitors alike.

Our book also makes a visual impression. It has a canvas cover, which pays homage to Bielsko-Biała's textile traditions and serves as a reminder that we are the "City of Weaves". The title of the bidbook - "Weaving Wellbeing" - indicates our main goal.

The bidbook has already been submitted to the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. Its full version will be published on September 23 at 10:10. At that time, the team from the City of Connections will be in Warsaw answering questions from panel members. This is one of the key moments in our efforts for ECoC 2029. The contents of the bidbook will be accessible to everyone, as it will be made available online at bb2029.com.
